  • Ultimate Bounce,  00 loud leopard stallion. Bouncer was purchased at the 2000 POA Sale in Iowa from breeder Dale Linnenkamp. His sire is Bounce Back Jack, International Grand Champion, who was by Another Bounce, ApHC, and out of OZ's Sweet Speculation, Multiple International Champion and dam of multiple International Champions, now in the POA Hall of Fame. Bouncer's dam is Ultimate Deelux, by Ultimate Fury by legend Prince's Fury, and out of Heavenly Sunshine, a Prince Plaudit bred mare. Bouncer is Skyrock's current senior stallion. Very loud coloring accents his beautiful conformation (Judge's comment at an Open Show where as a yearling Bouncer took 1st over six  full-sized horses: "He's so correct. You won on correctness. The POAs have come so far as a breed."). Below are some of Bouncer's achievements in chronological order.
  • FLASH! Bouncer recently exceeded all expectations at the 2002 World Show in July, where he won every class he was entered in. He now holds the titles World Champion 2 year old Stallion, World Champion Most Colorful and World Champion 2 year old Lunge Line.
  • FLASH! Bouncer Bouncer won Grand Champion Stallion at the 2002 South West Regional in August. He also took top honors in the California Futurities, held in conjunction with the SW Regional, in Halter and Lunge Line.
  • FLASH! Bouncer won Grand Champion Stallion at the 2003 South West Regional in Scottsdale in March over a field of very nice colts and mature stallions. We are especially happy with this Grand, as Bouncer also won it last year, which makes him a back-to-back SW Regional Grand Champion Stallion.
  • FLASH!  Bouncer won Grand Champion Stallion at the Rocky Mountain Regional, the prelude show to the World.
  • FLASH!  Bouncer won  World Champion Three-Year-Old Stallion at the 2003 World Show. He also took home the World Champion title in Most Colorful.
  • FLASH! Bouncer won International Champion Three-Year-Old Stallion and International Senior Champion Stallion at the POA International in Shelbyville Tennessee!
  • FLASH! Bouncer won the Cal-State English Riding Futurity at the Fairplex in Pomona. He'll be shown JPFC in 2004.
  • FLASH! Bouncer is First in the Nation in the Year End Point Standings for 3 year old Stallions for the 2003 season.
  • FLASH! Bouncer has earned his ROM(H). He will hang up his silver halter and go for the show saddle.
  • FLASH! Bouncer won World Champion 19&Over Western Pleasure, and World Champion JPFC Western Pleasure at the 2004 World Show in Colorado.
  • FLASH! Bouncer won the 2005 Cal-State Western Pleasure Riding Derby over a field of top flight ponies. He also took Reserve Champion in the English Pleasure Derby.
  • FLASH! Bouncer has been selected by the Arabian Horse Association to represent the POA Breed on their 2006 poster depicting horse breeds of the world that can trace their roots to Arabians. This poster is currently available nationwide from the AHA.

Skyrock mares due 2008

Bunnyarrivalpics3.jpg (25569 bytes)

RBR Bunbeatable

(JKA Supreme Scooter X Dee's Diablo QT)

Winner of the Select Sire Futurity, Bunny has size and muscle as well as color - we expect this baby to be able to halter! Bunny also has soft, pretty movement and a gentle disposition, so this foal should be able to continue it's career as a show pony and clean up at the big shows on the rail!  Bunny also is full and 1/2 sibling to many of the great "Bun" ponies out of Sue Bagwell's ranch in OK, who are burning up the show ring. Imagine what this cross will produce! Eligible for SSF and Cal-State Futurities. See pics under 2007 foals of full brother to this foal, Skyrock Dressed In Red - outstanding build - sorrel w/characteristics - Registered POA ID and AQPA.

Black leopard colt February 20th

Lullaby&Rascalsmall.JPG (39941 bytes)

Suncrest Lullabye

(Suncrest Tattoo X Suncrest Forever Amber)

Lullabye is a real treasure for us as we'd been trying to buy her for years. She is a daughter of Suncrest Tattoo, World Champion and Int Res. Champion, and sire of multiple World and International Champions, including Suncrest Magic Moment, JPFC Winner, and Suncrest Ms. Tattletail, multiple World and International Champion, and Versatility Class Winner. AND - Lullabye is out of the legendary Suncrest Forever Amber, dam of Supreme Champions and International Grand Champions  Suncrest Kandi Bar, Suncrest Big Mac and Suncrest DoughBoy.   Kandi Bar and Big Mac each won the International Versatility Class  --  Big Mac TWICE! And Kandi Bar was Int'l Grand Champion Mare TWICE! Wow. Moreover, Lullabye has only been bred once  -  to Bouncer -  and that loud black leopard colt (pictured above) won the Cal-State Futurity the first time shown.  AND - Lullabye herself was shown as a young mare and was International Champion 2yo Mare. Quite the credentials! We are looking forward to this '08 foal, Eligible for SSF and Cal-State Futurities!

Bay Few-Spot filly with black points April 19, 2008

PennySWR3rdA.jpg (422279 bytes)

Skyrock Copper Penny

(Prince X Molly)

A '96 POA mare, bay with snowflakes, Penny is currently the only "hardshipped" POA at Skyrock. She is  a Quarter/Appaloosa cross of Three Bars and Waggoner breeding, with great legs and a tremendous heart girth. Penny has produced two foals for us so far, Skyrock Bouncin Jack Brown, a mahogany bay ID gelding showing  Open, and Skyrock Sienna, a bay snowflake filly showing POA  -  both are very nice. Penny is bred for '08 to Indy's California Debut, a black (possibly Smoky Black!) few-spot stallion owned by Heaven Sent POAs.  This virtually guarantees a black or bay base appaloosa colored foal. Eligible for SSF and Cal-State Futurities!

Liver Chestnut Leopard mare. Queen is a World Champion and is the dam of several Champion foals, including Skyrock Diamond Jim,  2007 Cal-State Futurity Champion Colt. Queen's foals are always high quality, and we are very much looking forward to this foal, a full sibling to DJ.

Miss Lacey Snow

laceyside1small.jpg (25552 bytes)

Sorrel Few Spot mare. Lacey is the dam of several Champion foals, including LVO Respect This Miss, Cal-State Futurity Champion, NW Regional Futurity Champion and 3rd at the Select Sire Futurity, as well as reserve high selling mare at the '01 Sale. Lacey is grand-dam to Doc's Respect This Dude, standing at ElDiHan's POAs.  Lacey's sire, St Nik's Snowstorm, is the producer of numerous World and International Champions.

Outside Mares Due 2009:

LVO Whole Lotta Respect

Chestnut Leopard mare. A daughter of Little Valley Oaks' famed 2X International Grand Champion Stallion Mister Respect, she is now in Texas, and her owner, long-time rancher Johnny Brown, says she has the best movement of any horse he's ever owned, which seems typical of those great Mister Respect offspring - Lottie is also out of our own Miss Lacey Snow.

Sheza Cool Color ROM(H) ROM(NT) POA ROM Ch.

sShezaCoolColorEngsmall.JPG (28278 bytes) SHEZA COOL COLOR 2small.JPG (29527 bytes)

This incredible buckskin leopard daughter of JBJ's Totally Macho X Rosewood Miss (AQHA) is not only pretty, but talented as well. She was Grand Champion Mare at the 2008 Mid-East Regional and Reserve Champion Broodmare at the 2008 International.  She has multiple Regional Grand Championships and was Reserve High Point Large Mare in the national standings in 2007.  She has her ROM(H), ROM(NT) and her POA ROM Champion.  She has also been Regional and Classic Champion in English pleasure in 13-18, and top five at the International. We are thrilled the Haas family chose Ultimate Bounce to cross on this great mare!
